Quick help

Set up Payment auto-log

You need iOS 27 and Wallet notifications turned on (iPhone Settings, then Notifications, then Wallet).

  1. In SpendLah, open Settings → Payment auto-log → Wallet. Grab and UOB TMRW are listed there too, with the same steps.
  2. Tap “Add the Wallet shortcut”. This adds “Log Payment To SpendLah”.
  3. Follow the short setup steps in the app.

It takes about a minute. After that, most Apple Pay purchases appear in “To confirm”. Cash, PayLah and some bank payments still need you. You check each one before it counts.

Turn AI off

Open Settings, then AI & Privacy, and switch AI off. Simple notes such as “kopi 1.80” still work, because they never needed AI. AI runs on your iPhone with Apple Intelligence, so nothing is sent anywhere either way.

Turn analytics off

Open Settings, then AI & Privacy, and switch off “Share usage analytics”.

Back up and restore

Open Settings, then Backup (under Data), to save your data to a file. Keep the file somewhere safe. To restore, use the same Backup row and pick that file. To get your expenses into a spreadsheet, open Settings and tap Export expenses (CSV), also under Data.

Delete your data

Deleting the app deletes the expenses, receipts and settings on your iPhone. Make a backup first if you want to keep them. SpendLah’s server keeps no expense content. Its records are deleted on a schedule (see the Privacy Policy); the last of them go 400 days after you stop using the app. Questions or requests: email us at spendlah.app@gmail.com.
